Recycled chemical fiber: Prices remained stable in June, with high inventory
In June, the market price of recycled fibers remained stable and is currently at its lowest point within the year. The average market price of recycled fibers this month is 6400 yuan/ton, a decrease of 93 yuan/ton or 1.43% compared to the previous month's average price. The price of regenerated ordinary fiber has been stuck for the whole month. As of June 30, the mainstream of high-strength imitated large-scale fiber market in East China was 6300-6500 yuan/ton, which was stable compared with the end of last month.
The main reason for the stable price of recycled fibers is the mutual game between low demand and cost support. At the same time, the price difference between polyester staple fibers and recycled fibers remains below a thousand yuan, which together with weak demand suppresses the growth of recycled fibers; On the raw material side, the increase in bottle and chip shipments was less than expected, and the ability of recycled fibers to hold down prices weakened. Coupled with the loss of profits in the recycled fiber industry, there is little room for further profit, and the two together support the price of recycled fibers. So the regenerated fiber is in a very passive situation this month, facing a dilemma.
