Experts from EREMA Engineering Recycling Technologies Mr. Wolfgang Hermann and Mr. Pascal Denizart from CETI European Textile Innovation Center will discuss technical solutions for fiber and composite material recycling.

As two very competent partners of CETI (French Research Institute for Textiles/Nonwovens), in its special field of innovative textile and fiber technology and processing, Erema group companies have expertise in the thermomechanical recycling of synthetic polymers in fiber and Processing capacity for textile recycling. At the same time, the technology of converting recycled materials into fibers has been quite successful in (synthetic) in-house waste recycling by applying the latest technologies. But the conversion of textiles, especially post-consumer recycled materials, still requires further efforts along the value chain to overcome the problems posed by mixed raw materials. CETI and Erema are jointly following this "road" every step of the way, from the sorting of incoming recycled material to the processing of recycled high polymer fibers into textiles.
